v1.2.3October 2026

I've been practising my words

  • I've been practising my words! When you're welcoming a new buddy, I'll tell you whether to wait a little, try another photo, or take a break for today or this month—in your language, so you don't have to guess.
v1.2.9October 2026

A tidier little home

  • I made a little more room at home! Stretch or shrink the settings window, and long messages will tuck neatly onto the next line. If something gets in the way of meeting a new buddy, I'll tell you what to do next—in your language.
v1.2.2 August 2026

A leap for the ledge

  • The stretch between the floor and a window's bottom edge has nothing to hold — so it takes a leap to catch the ledge first, then climbs up from there.
v1.2.1 August 2026

The last pull up

  • The final pull onto a window ledge is cleaner — paws on the edge, body follows smoothly, no extra wobble.
  • Both built-in buddies picked up the move too.
v1.2.0 August 2026

Surer footing

  • It now only climbs window edges it can actually see — no more reaching for ones tucked behind others.
  • Drag a window around and it rides along; if it can't keep up, it lets go and hops down to find another.
v1.1.9 August 2026

Officially signed

  • It now arrives properly signed and notarized by Apple — download, open, done. No more explaining itself to your Mac.
  • With its new ID badge, your Mac will ask about Input Monitoring once more — say yes so it can keep typing along with you.
v1.1.8 August 2026

Speaks your language

  • The photo preview now sits neatly in its frame — tidy corners, no peeking out.
  • Whatever it needs to tell you, it says it in your own language now.
v1.1.7 August 2026

Sticking the landing

  • Topping out is slicker now — paws right on the corner, and it sticks the landing every time.
v1.1.6 August 2026

The full show

  • The climb preview in Settings now plays the whole show — climbing all the way up and vaulting neatly onto the window top.
  • The little messages during generation got friendlier — in your language, with a gentler tone.
v1.1.5 August 2026

Window-ledge form: perfected

  • Reaching a window top it now does a proper mantle — both paws on the ledge, body over, one leg hooked, then a neat hop up.
v1.1.4 August 2026

Little moves, big manners

  • Hover any move in the Style tab and it acts it out for you right there.
  • Sleepy time now starts with climbing back down to the desktop — it's windy up there, way too cold for a nap.
v1.1.3 August 2026

Unlocked from day one

  • Already bought Peekoo? Enter your code right in the welcome tour — unlocked from day one.
v1.2.8 August 2026

A leap for the ledge

  • The stretch between the floor and a window's bottom edge has nothing to hold — so it takes a leap to catch the ledge first, then climbs up from there.
v1.2.7 August 2026

The last pull up

  • The final pull onto a window ledge is cleaner — paws on the edge, body follows smoothly, no extra wobble.
  • Both built-in buddies picked up the move too.
v1.2.6 August 2026

Hide and seek, sorted

  • Tap “Hide it” when you need the space, “Bring it back” when you miss it — the menu says exactly which, and it listens the first time.
v1.2.5 August 2026

Surer footing

  • It now only climbs window edges it can actually see — no more reaching for ones tucked behind others.
  • Drag a window around and it rides along; if it can't keep up, it lets go and hops down to find another.
v1.2.4 August 2026

Says it clearly

Steady up top

  • It's steadier up on window tops now — strolling, daydreaming and hopping off, all with total composure.
v1.2.1 August 2026

Sticking the landing

v1.1.8 August 2026

Window-ledge form: perfected

  • Reaching the top of a window it now grabs the edge with both paws, hangs for a beat, then hops up neatly — proper form, no more popping onto the ledge.
v1.1.7 August 2026

Updates use the front door now

  • Update checks and downloads now go through peekoo.app — they work on any network, and if a check doesn't get through it quietly tries again.
v1.1.6 August 2026

A little more alive everywhere

  • Hover any move in the Style tab and it acts it out for you right there.
  • No more silent waiting while it's being drawn — you'll see each step as it happens.
  • It can start with Windows now, and one click on the tray icon opens Settings.
  • The welcome tour now stars your pet itself, and deleting a pet asks you first — no more heartbreak from a slipped click.
v1.1.5 August 2026

Unlocked from day one

  • Already bought Peekoo? Hand over your code right in the welcome tour and everything opens up from day one — no digging through Settings.
  • Missed the welcome tour? Call it back anytime from Settings or the tray menu — it's always happy to introduce itself again.
v1.1.4 August 2026

New versions knock first

  • When a new version lands, it knocks with the release notes in hand. Say Later and it won't ask again — promise.
v1.1.3 August 2026

Calmer hops, cozier naps

  • It only hops onto windows within reach now — short legs, long falls, no thanks.
  • Sleepy time now starts with climbing back down to the desktop — it's windy up there, way too cold for a nap.
v1.1.2 August 2026

It climbs your windows now

  • It walks over to a window, climbs up the edge and hops on top — hangs out for a bit, then strolls to the far side, leaps off and parachutes down.
  • No windows around? It scales the side of your screen to the very top, then floats all the way back down.
v1.1.1 August 2026

It climbs now

  • It scales the sides of your screen and climbs down window edges — and might parachute off the top.
